I am happy to add this NIV Verse Mapping  Bible to my Bible collection. This unique Bible is made for me :).  I like reading and studying from different translation versions of the Bible. I also love knowing the Greek and Hebrew original roots of various words found in the Bible. The NIV Verse Mapping Bible offers both. Verse mapping goes beyond just simply reading the Bible. It uses Bible study tools to dig deeper into God's Word--to discover what God is saying and how we can apply His Word in our lives. The verse mapping technique was developed by author Kristy Cambron.  The NIV Verse Mapping Bible includes 350 partially completed verse maps.  There are also extra 70 blank verse mapping pages throughout the Bible for your own inductive Bible study. I enjoy Bible-journaling so again this Bible is truly my cup of tea. I was so thrilled when I received this King James Study Bible for review. It is beautiful inside and outside. I am studying Colossians and I really value the extensive commentary that helps me understand in depth what I read. This Bible features comprehensive book introductions and outlines, insightful background information, doctrinal footnotes, personality profiles, and archaeological sites. It definitely enriches and excites my digging into God's Word. This study Bible also includes center-column references with notes, easy-to-navigate topical indexes, and word-study concordance.   Billy Graham said, " The greatest legacy one can pass on to one's children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one's life, but rather a legacy of character and faith ." I hope most if not all Christian parents concur. However, busyness, distractions of technology, and the pulls of worldliness are all working against us parents trying to pass on our faith to our children. I find this book quite interesting and helpful (you can tell by how many good quotes I like...see below). I always wanted to know more about the Jewish roots of our Christian faith. I enjoyed reading Generation to Generation and learning so many things about the holy observances of the Jewish year and about Judaism.  The author shares how the holy observances and traditions help Jewish parents pass down their faith from generation to generation (known as l'dor v'dor).
