Review: You Are Loved Journal and Scripture Cards

In this world of chaos, distractions, and negativity, we all can certainly use words of encouragement, especially soul-nourishing and faith-strengthening messages from God's Word. I was excited to receive the You Are Loved Scripture Writing Journal and the 4x4 Scripture Card Set . The card set consists of 52 beautifully designed cards with affirming messages about who you are (in Christ) on one side and corresponding Scriptures on the other side. The colorful floral images in the background are pleasing to the eyes and make the words stand out. The 108-page Scripture Writing Journal complements the card set with the same affirmations and Scripture references plus space to write Scriptures, journal, reflection, and prayer. I encourage you to get into a habit of writing out Scripture. Film Review: Jesus Revolution (Plus $10 Amazon Giftcard Giveaway)

Jesus Revolution is an inspiring film based on a true story of a national spiritual awakening in the early 1970s among the hippies in Southern California. It follows the story of how the lives of Pastor Chuck Smith (played by Kelsey Grammer), Lonnie Frisbee (played by Jonathan Roumie), and Greg Laurie (played by Joel Courtney) converged and how God used them to impact the hippie culture. The wandering youth searched for truth in all the wrong places (drugs, alcohol, promiscuity, rock and roll, etc.) which failed to give life meaning and fulfillment.
