Of all the fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-23 (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control), gentleness is the one I struggle with the most. When I saw this challenge, I knew I had to (definitely should) take it :). Oh how I long for a constant gentle and quiet spirit (1 Peter 3:4)! "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Proverbs 15:1 "Be completely humble and gentle ; be patient, bearing with one another in love." Ephesians 4:2
"I am the Vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing." (John 15:5) It is our desire to always abide in JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Savior, and to bear much fruit...hence "Fruitbearers." "The fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, and SELF-CONTROL. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23
