Review: Spiritual Seeds Planner

I am a planner-wannabe. I know I need to be more organized. I am a list maker, journal keeper, and sticker lover. I was elated to receive this grapefruit pink 2021 Weekly Planner for review. Spiritual Seeds Planner is no ordinary planner. It prioritizes our spiritual growth over our daily plans and progress over achievement. It is designed specifically to help Christians live a life filled with the fruit of the Spirit, guided by the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 is one of my favorite Bible verses: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." This unique planner uses a gardening theme that emphasizes four garden plots: Friends/Family, Self/Personal Well-Being, Community, and Vocation/Work. Each month focuses on one fruit at a time and has a page for writing down action plans to plant and cultivate and grow. Each month starts with an inspirational prayer and Scriptures (to read on your own). There are plenty of blank pages for notes. The layout is visually pleasing. I especially appreciate the large fonts because I have eye problems. Fun garden-themed stickers are available for purchase.

The planner has a beautiful faux leather cover. The 2021 weekly planner comes in three different colors: Coconut Brown, Grapefruit Pink, and Slate Grey. They also offer undated weekly planners in three colors: Slate Grey, Bark Brown, and Plum. Check them out if you're looking for a planner for next year! It also would make a great Christmas gift for yourselves or others. Spiritual Seeds Planner will help you live intentionally to grow spiritually, become more like Christ, and bear much fruit.

DVD Review and Giveaway: A Mile in His Shoes

A Mile in His Shoes is a family-friendly movie (PG) about a young man diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (a form of autism) and how his God-given talent (his amazing throwing ability) helps him and others. It's about overcoming challenges in life. It is based on the book "The Legend of Mickey Tussler" (a true story). It's directed by William Dear, the director of "Angels In the Outfield." It stars Dean Cain who plays Arthur Murphy, a baseball coach and Luke Schroder who plays Mickey, the main character. Excellent performances! My family and I enjoyed this movie. It spoke to my heart deeply because one of my kids has symptoms that are similar to Asperger's Syndrome but the doctors diagnosed him with anxiety disorder, instead. My son is very athletic and great with numbers like Mickey. He is also sensitive to noise and crowds like Mickey. When Coach Murphy sees Mickey (a farmer boy) throw apples at a bucket for his pigs, he knows that he has just fo
