Review and Giveaway: The JESUS Film

Did you know that The JESUS Film is the most watched (having been viewed billions of times) and most translated film (available in 1,197 languages)? It was made in 1979. In honor of its 35th anniversary (in 2014), The JESUS Film has been fully restored and remastered in high-definition with a complete new musical score in Dolby 5.1 surround sound. And for the first time in history, the film has been available on streaming. Our family has been long-time supporters of CRU's The JESUS Film ministries.  They have been doing a wonderful job reaching the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through this amazing film. One of the greatest evangelical tools ever!

I watched The JESUS Film once a long time ago and I just watched it again. In my opinion, it's the most impactful film of all time because it tells the greatest story of all time. More than 200 million people worldwide have come to faith in Jesus Christ after viewing The JESUS Film! The JESUS Film covers the creation, the curse, the foreshadowing of Christ's sacrifice through the account of Abraham and Isaac, the prophecies regarding Jesus Christ, and Christ's birth, ministry, death, & resurrection as recorded in the Gospel of Luke. It's Biblically accurate and culturally accurate. I highly recommend this classic film to everyone! The JESUS Film DVD also includes bonus features: The Making of 'The JESUS Film' and The Impact of 'The JESUS Film'. The DVD has subtitles in 9 languages: English, Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Arabic, German, and Japanese.

DVD Review and Giveaway: A Mile in His Shoes

A Mile in His Shoes is a family-friendly movie (PG) about a young man diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (a form of autism) and how his God-given talent (his amazing throwing ability) helps him and others. It's about overcoming challenges in life. It is based on the book "The Legend of Mickey Tussler" (a true story). It's directed by William Dear, the director of "Angels In the Outfield." It stars Dean Cain who plays Arthur Murphy, a baseball coach and Luke Schroder who plays Mickey, the main character. Excellent performances! My family and I enjoyed this movie. It spoke to my heart deeply because one of my kids has symptoms that are similar to Asperger's Syndrome but the doctors diagnosed him with anxiety disorder, instead. My son is very athletic and great with numbers like Mickey. He is also sensitive to noise and crowds like Mickey. When Coach Murphy sees Mickey (a farmer boy) throw apples at a bucket for his pigs, he knows that he has just fo
