Review: BlankieGram

I was given an opportunity to review BlankieGram Faith blanket. I picked purple because it's one of my favorite colors. I didn't know that "purple is known to help bring sleep, soothe mental and emotional stress and decrease sensitivity to pain. Purple may help in detoxification as well". (taken from the BlankieGram's website) Cool, eh? The blanket came in a lovely organza bag. BlankieGram throw blanket is super soft and plush. It feels warm and comfy. It has encouraging, inspiring words all over. The words included are grace, gratitude, glory, generosity, goodness, gentleness, hope, faith, love, pray, prayers, praise, patience, peace, strength, blessed, thankful, lovingkindness, faithfulness, compassion, joy, joyful, rejoice, and eternal. Tis the season to wrap yourselves in a cozy throw blanket while relaxing on the couch and reading or watching your favorite Christmas movies :). This blanket is big enough for two people to snuggle up in. The dimensions are 50 x 1 x 60 inches. This blanket would make a wonderful, meaningful Christmas gift for your loved ones or an uplifting, thoughtful gift for someone who is going through trials and sufferings. It's like feeling your loving hugs when you cannot be there in person. It speaks of loving, caring, comfort, and support that will touch the receiver's heart for years to come. Do you know anyone who may need spiritual encouragement? Surprise them with this unique gift of love, warmth, hope, and comfort. The Faith Blanket is available in purple, blue, teal, pink, and grey.

~I received a free BlankieGram via Christian Women Affiliate in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

DVD Review and Giveaway: A Mile in His Shoes

A Mile in His Shoes is a family-friendly movie (PG) about a young man diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (a form of autism) and how his God-given talent (his amazing throwing ability) helps him and others. It's about overcoming challenges in life. It is based on the book "The Legend of Mickey Tussler" (a true story). It's directed by William Dear, the director of "Angels In the Outfield." It stars Dean Cain who plays Arthur Murphy, a baseball coach and Luke Schroder who plays Mickey, the main character. Excellent performances! My family and I enjoyed this movie. It spoke to my heart deeply because one of my kids has symptoms that are similar to Asperger's Syndrome but the doctors diagnosed him with anxiety disorder, instead. My son is very athletic and great with numbers like Mickey. He is also sensitive to noise and crowds like Mickey. When Coach Murphy sees Mickey (a farmer boy) throw apples at a bucket for his pigs, he knows that he has just fo...
