Live on Forever is the newest album from The Afters. The story behind this album is very inspiring. They have turned their season of tragedy into a message of hope and triumph. Their songs remind listeners to embrace eternal perspective and blessed assurance of Heaven. Our trials and sufferings are temporary; we get to live on forever with God. The songs in this album are fresh, energetic, uplifting, and encouraging. They celebrate God's faithfulness and God's promises. This album invites listeners to find strength in God and to keep holding on to Christ. Don't give up. Don't give in. Stand up against fear; stay strong & courageous to fight battles because God has your back.

 I enjoyed listening to the album. My favorite songs are Battles, Wake Up My Heart, Live On Forever, and When You're With Me. Battles is an anthem of faith. Wake Up My Heart is a reflective song of prayer. I love the echo effect on Live On Forever, a song about Heaven and eternity. When You're With Me is a sweet love song with lovely violin sound. I also like Sunrise which has beautiful music and comforting message. Several songs have fun, joyful beat that makes me want to dance :). Hope you'll check this album out and get pumped up to face any challenges with God-confidence and live fearlessly forever!

    I can't think of just one artist. I like Toby Mac, Matthew West, Phil Wickham, Moriah Peters, For King and Country, Mercy Me, Sara Groves. I don't listen to much music at home, because my son has sensory processing issues. God Bless You for all of your encouraging words!

DVD Review and Giveaway: A Mile in His Shoes

A Mile in His Shoes is a family-friendly movie (PG) about a young man diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (a form of autism) and how his God-given talent (his amazing throwing ability) helps him and others. It's about overcoming challenges in life. It is based on the book "The Legend of Mickey Tussler" (a true story). It's directed by William Dear, the director of "Angels In the Outfield." It stars Dean Cain who plays Arthur Murphy, a baseball coach and Luke Schroder who plays Mickey, the main character. Excellent performances! My family and I enjoyed this movie. It spoke to my heart deeply because one of my kids has symptoms that are similar to Asperger's Syndrome but the doctors diagnosed him with anxiety disorder, instead. My son is very athletic and great with numbers like Mickey. He is also sensitive to noise and crowds like Mickey.
